Linden Porco is playing the Leprechaun this time around; the folkloric
villain was portrayed by Warwick Davis in the first six films.

Spreitler, Pepi Sonuga, Sai Bennett, and Mark Holton co-star in the
film, which was written by Suzanne Keilly and directed by Steven
Kostanski. “Leprechaun Returns” comes to Syfy sometime next year.
Syfy is reviving the tongue-in-cheek horror franchise with “Leprechaun Returns,”
the eighth movie in the series and the first since’s 2014’s
“Leprechaun: Origins.”
That reboot was preceded by such revered entries
as “Leprechaun 4: In Space” and “Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood,” which is
to say that “Returns” has a lot to live up to. Watch the teaser trailer
